Director - Commercial & Supply Chain

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow commercial capability in Canberra focusing on procurement, contracting, and contract management
• Deliver high-quality commercial outcomes for clients within Defence and Commonwealth environments
• Generate new business opportunities by leveraging existing networks and reputation
• Support complex programs across acquisition and sustainment
• Shape opportunities before they become formal procurements
• Mentor and develop junior consultants to grow the local team

Requirements

• Extensive experience in procurement and contract management in complex environments
• Strong knowledge of ASDEFCON and Defence commercial frameworks
• Proven experience in end-to-end acquisition activities including tendering and negotiation
• Established Canberra-based Defence or Commonwealth network
• Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain AGSVA Security Clearance
• Ability to operate autonomously in a growth-oriented environment
