Responsibilities
- Lead and evolve Halter's commercial strategy across markets, channels, and segments
- Act as a strategic partner to the VP Commercial on consequential decisions
- Build and coach a high-performing Commercial Strategy team
- Execute hands-on work including building financial models, writing narratives, and running analysis
- Lead complex cross-functional bets across GTM, Product, and Ops
- Own market intelligence and competitive strategy to anticipate industry shifts
- Define frameworks for monetization and market entry
- Develop and scale strategic partnership models to unlock new distribution and revenue
- Drive end-to-end adoption of commercial strategies across the business
Requirements
- Seasoned commercial strategist with experience building real-world growth engines
- Deep understanding of growth, pricing, unit economics, and market entry
- Hands-on approach with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for complex modeling
- Ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear, actionable narratives
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and collaborate cross-functionally
- Experience thriving in high-speed, ambiguous environments (startups, consulting, or high-growth SaaS)
- Strong ability to build and coach teams while remaining an individual contributor
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in top-tier strategy consulting at Manager or Principal level
- Experience building or scaling a commercial strategy function
- Exposure to agtech, SaaS, or hardware businesses during rapid growth or international expansion
