Director, Commercial Sales, Retail & Foodservice

Responsibilities

• Own annual Retail and Foodservice revenue delivery and the commercial P&L narrative
• Lead commercial inputs into the AOP and build multi-channel commercial roadmaps
• Set portfolio-level retailer and channel priorities across mass, club, grocery, and foodservice
• Own pricing architecture, trade guardrails, and governance around major retailer commitments
• Partner with Head of Sales & BD on account prioritization and customer strategy
• Develop and scale the Foodservice commercial strategy and route-to-market decisions
• Lead the commercial operating rhythm across sales, planning, finance, and supply chain
• Manage and coach the commercial team, including Head of Sales & BD and Sales Strategy & Planning

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in CPG commercial sales, retail sales, or sales strategy leadership
• Experience leading retail account management across mass, club, grocery, or foodservice channels
• Proven P&L ownership with command of commercial budgets and trade spend
• Experience building or scaling a commercial function from an early stage
• Experience managing broker networks and third-party sales resources
• Strong understanding of retail commercialization, category reviews, and promotional planning
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience; MBA is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Fresh or refrigerated category experience
• Experience at a DTC-to-retail brand in transition
