About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the Energy Development Analyst team, fostering a high-performance culture
- Oversee the development of economic models for large-scale land, power, and data center site pricing
- Drive continuous improvement of due diligence workflows, pipeline management, and reporting mechanisms
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the data center opportunity pipeline
- Supervise the creation of board-level presentations and executive communications
- Track hyperscaler activity, regulatory developments, and energy infrastructure trends
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between Energy Development and Real Estate, Finance, Cloud, and Engineering teams
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in consulting, project finance, investment banking, private equity, or energy development
- 3+ years of experience in a managerial or team leadership role
- Deep understanding of energy markets, project economics, and financial modeling
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to distill complex content into executive-ready recommendations
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or relevant advanced degree
- Experience with data center infrastructure, HPC, or large-scale power-consuming industries
- Familiarity with power purchase agreements and energy project commercial frameworks
- Aptitude for leveraging AI-based tools for analytical efficiency
- Ability to travel domestically (estimated <20%)
