Director, Commercial Data & Insights, Digital Technology and AI

Responsibilities

• Lead the transformation and operationalization of modern data, analytics, digital platforms, and AI capabilities for the global commercial organization.
• Own end-to-end delivery of commercial data and insights, including patient identification, targeting, segmentation, and forecasting.
• Drive the modernization of commercial data architecture, specifically through the adoption and scaling of Databricks and cloud-based platforms.
• Oversee the delivery of scalable data pipelines and ensure data quality and reliability across all reporting layers.
• Enable advanced analytics and AI/ML use cases to improve decision support and embed insights into commercial workflows like CRM and dashboards.
• Partner with senior leaders across Commercial, Market Access, and Digital Technology to translate business priorities into delivery roadmaps.
• Ensure strict compliance with healthcare data privacy and security standards, including HIPAA and data governance protocols.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of data engineering and analytics professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in life sciences or biopharma commercial data, analytics, or digital technology.
• Proven track record of leading enterprise-scale data and analytics transformations.
• Proficiency with modern data platforms, specifically Databricks.
• Deep understanding of commercial healthcare data (claims, Rx, EHR, specialty pharmacy) and associated analytics use cases.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead change management in a matrixed environment.
