Director, Commercial Card Solutions, Global Transaction Banking

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Commercial Cards sales strategy to win new client mandates and accelerate growth.
• Lead, coach, and performance-manage the Commercial Cards sales team to build a high-performance culture.
• Drive commercial results, specifically focusing on spend volume, revenue, pipeline quality, and client retention.
• Partner with Treasury Management Officers, Relationship Managers, and Corporate Banking to originate opportunities and structure client solutions.
• Act as a senior subject matter expert to translate client needs into tailored commercial card solutions.
• Oversee risk, compliance, and control requirements in accordance with the Bank’s governance standards.
• Collaborate across product, operations, risk, and legal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and execution.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in Commercial Cards, payments, treasury management, or corporate banking sales.
• Proven sales leadership experience, including managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Deep knowledge of Commercial Cards products, payment flows, and working capital solutions.
• Demonstrated success managing complex sales cycles and negotiating commercial terms with corporate clients.
• Strong strategic and consultative sales skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Sound understanding of risk, compliance, and control requirements (KYC, AML/ATF, and sanctions).
• Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.

• University degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
• Relevant professional designations or certifications.
