Director, Clover Engineering Programs

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Technical Program Managers to drive complex, cross-functional programs from conception to launch
• Establish and refine TPM best practices, processes, and frameworks to improve engineering predictability, quality, and velocity
• Partner with Engineering, Release, and Infrastructure teams to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and roadblocks to ensure timely delivery of key initiatives
• Act as a strategic advisor to the Head of Technology, providing data-driven insights and recommendations on critical decisions
• Manage the Head of Technology's priorities, schedule, and strategic initiatives to ensure effective time allocation
• Prepare and facilitate key executive meetings, including reviews, all-hands, and board presentations
• Serve as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling communications on behalf of leadership

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technology
• 5+ years of leadership experience in Technical Program Management (TPM), Engineering Management, or a similar role
• Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a track record of driving complex projects to completion

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Chief of Staff or similar strategic support role
• Master's degree in a technical or business field
