About the role
Responsibilities
- Define and own the enterprise multi-cloud strategy across AWS, Azure, and GCP to align with business objectives.
- Establish the cloud operating model, including governance structures and shared-responsibility boundaries.
- Drive workload placement strategy, cloud adoption roadmaps, and migration priorities.
- Operate and improve cloud platforms for reliability, performance, and resilience.
- Establish landing zones, reference architectures, and infrastructure-as-code standards.
- Partner with Information Security to enforce cloud security posture, IAM, and compliance.
- Manage cloud cost governance, optimization, forecasting, and FinOps models.
- Lead and develop a team of six, including direct reports and matrixed contributors.
Requirements
- 10+ years in IT/cloud engineering with at least 5 years in cloud leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience operating at enterprise scale across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Proven track record defining cloud operating models and governance frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of cloud security, IAM, networking, and compliance.
- Strong background in infrastructure-as-code, automation, and platform engineering.
- Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization at scale.
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, including managing matrixed teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP architect/professional level).
- Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, or high-tech enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with regulated or compliance-driven operating contexts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
