Director, Clinical Trial Liaison

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with clinical trial investigators and research site staff to facilitate subject recruitment
• Provide regional operational insight into site feasibility, selection, and patient recruitment strategies
• Identify and cultivate high-quality cardiovascular investigators
• Communicate scientific and clinical information clearly to ensure sites understand study objectives and investigational product profiles
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations and Clinical Development to resolve investigator site issues
• Attend and present at SIVs, investigator meetings, and monitor workshops
• Support enrollment and retention efforts through data-driven insights and relationship-building
• Participate in Regulatory GCP inspections and/or audits at investigator sites
• Partner with Medical Affairs and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree; Master’s or terminal degree (MD, PhD, or PharmD) preferred
• 10+ years of relevant industry and/or CRO experience
• Extensive experience in site-facing clinical trial operations
• Working knowledge of ICH/GCP
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel up to 70% within the assigned territory, including overnight travel
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

• Cardiovascular clinical trial experience and expertise in cardiovascular diseases (e.g., heart failure, cardiomyopathies, hypertension)
• Extensive medical and scientific knowledge and clinical development understanding
