Director, Clinical Science

Responsibilities

• Oversee an assigned portfolio of projects and lead teams of highly trained clinicians.
• Mentor junior team members and supervise quality control processes and clinical deliverables.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with sponsor teams and attend regular meetings.
• Review study protocols and provide clinical feedback to support study-specific objectives.
• Develop methodologies, intervention materials, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Identify and present issues and trends in study data to drive process improvements.
• Perform data preparation activities, including cleaning, transformation, and validation.
• Support business development efforts and contribute to thought leadership through research and presentations.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Psychiatric, Nursing, or Social Work (PhD or MD preferred).
• 10 years of experience working with psychiatric or neuropsychiatric populations.
• 10 years of experience administering psychiatric assessments, rating scales, and/or structured clinical interviews.
• 8 years of experience specifically with Central Nervous System (CNS) trials.
• Demonstrated experience training others on psychiatric assessments and rating scales.
• Clinical fluency in English with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and intermediate Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PowerBI.
• Proven ability to influence key stakeholders and build strong business relationships.
• Experience working within a matrix organization.
