Director Clinical Database Design & Acquisition

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across a Therapeutic Area portfolio, overseeing database design and non-CRF data acquisition activities
• Directly oversee Database Design Leads and Data Acquisition Leads to ensure consistency, quality, and high performance
• Establish and drive TA-specific best practices for database design, edit check strategy, and supplier integration
• Serve as the escalation point for complex build, integration, or supplier issues to ensure timely resolution
• Partner with Study Data Delivery Leads and cross-functional stakeholders to meet study startup, go-live, and database lock milestones
• Monitor portfolio-level metrics and lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize delivery performance
• Mentor and coach team members while contributing to enterprise discussions on platform strategy and data acquisition innovation

Requirements

• Doctorate degree with 10 years of clinical execution experience, OR
• Master's degree with 15 years of clinical execution experience, OR
• Bachelor's degree with 18 years of clinical execution experience
• At least 4 years of experience directly managing people and/or leading teams, projects, or programs
