Director, Chemical Production Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead the Chemical Production Operations department, developing and implementing strategic plans to align with company goals
• Oversee the processing of ingredients and pharmaceutical products, including contact lenses and saline solutions
• Drive operational efficiency and project performance through cross-functional collaboration
• Ensure strict compliance with GMP and GxP regulations and maintain high-quality standards
• Manage departmental resources, make key decisions, and approve projects
• Monitor and verify quality using statistical process control and other control procedures
• Foster a culture of excellence through performance management, talent development, and a strong safety culture
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program quality, cost, and scheduling

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience
• 10 years of relevant professional experience
• 6 years of demonstrated leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of GMP and GxP regulations
• Proficiency in statistical process control
• Ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
