About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead brand strategy and marketing tactics to advance the Rotman School of Management brand across enrolment, knowledge, and talent markets
  • Manage a high-calibre hybrid creative team providing services such as graphic design, web development, copywriting, and videography
  • Oversee strategic vendor relationships and manage the partnership with the School's strategic media partner for digital and programmatic advertising
  • Partner with graduate and executive program teams to drive recruitment and marketing solutions for internal business units
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets, negotiate contracts, and oversee large-scale digital campaigns
  • Utilize digital measurement and analytics to report on campaign performance and marketing effectiveness

Requirements

  • University degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in brand strategy, management, and marketing
  • Proven experience managing and leading hybrid creative teams
  • Deep expertise in digital platforms, social media, and current marketing trends, including the influence of AI
  • Demonstrated success in executing national and international paid advertising campaigns
  • Experience with digital measurement, analytics, and reporting tools
  • Proficiency in MS Office and social media monitoring software such as Hootsuite
  • Strong experience in budget management and vendor relations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in a relevant field
  • Experience working within an academic or higher education environment
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
