About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) reporting, analytics, and governance frameworks
  • Provide market risk oversight, monitoring, and reporting for designated portfolios
  • Develop and monitor market risk management frameworks, including policies, standards, and methodologies
  • Act as a subject matter expert on relevant regulations and assess their impact on governance frameworks
  • Provide strategic input to senior leaders and act as a trusted advisor on business decisions and new initiatives
  • Lead the development of risk metrics, dashboards, and comprehensive information management systems
  • Manage the review and sign-off process for regulatory reporting and attestations
  • Coordinate deep-dive reviews of specific counterparties or segments and participate in stress testing
  • Lead change management programs and strategic initiatives to improve risk governance and execution

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in risk management or a related field
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Expert knowledge of market risk management practices and regulatory requirements
  • Expertise in risk policy frameworks and quality control/testing frameworks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity and lead cross-group collaboration
