Director, Category (Small Format)

Responsibilities

• Design and manage Red Bull’s Category Business Plan to deliver impactful sales initiatives and cutting-edge consumer insights.
• Integrate shopper and category insights into actionable plans using multiple research sources.
• Lead and influence customer accounts' space planning strategy to ensure fair share representation.
• Manage a team of Category Development Managers and Analysts, providing coaching, education, and career development.
• Partner with Sales teams during Business Planning to establish continuous cycles of discovery, analysis, and development.
• Identify and build strong relationships with key management-level stakeholders within customer accounts.
• Collaborate with HQ Shopper Insights teams to develop effective in-store solutions and activations.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Sales or Category Management within the CPG or Beverage industry.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing and coaching a professional team.
• Extensive knowledge of syndicated data including Nielsen, Circana, or Spectra.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with plan-o-gram software such as JDA Intactix.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel 50-60%.
