Director, Card Risk Management

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Vertical Risk Managers and Risk Specialists to develop and implement cutting-edge risk solutions
• Work with business partners to validate risk processes impacting the company's bottom line
• Consult with Executives to determine interaction models with Lines of Business to create positive relationships
• Drive the finalization of risk category and subcategory frameworks
• Perform critical assessments and extensive gap assessments to mitigate risk and ensure smart business decisions
• Use analytical skills to conduct Risk Process Improvement, Process Design, and Process Excellence
• Manage large-scale Process Management and Governance initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
• 7+ years of experience in risk management or financial services
• 5+ years of program management experience
• 5+ years of experience partnering and interacting with internal business clients
• 5+ years of people management experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree
• 7+ years of Financial Services risk management experience
• 7+ years of experience in Project or Process Management
• 5+ years of internal strategy or management consulting experience leading cross-functional projects
