About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee data systems, reporting, training, outreach, and communication functions for Sponsored Projects Administration (SPA).
- Streamline and document internal business processes with an emphasis on developing and maintaining grants management systems.
- Manage a team of analysts and report developers to drive data quality and user experience.
- Serve as the primary liaison for data system matters between enterprise CUIT, Finance, Procurement, and various departmental stakeholders.
- Lead end-to-end testing, release, and change management, including establishing UAT/regression strategies and coordinating cutovers.
- Define quality assurance processes to ensure data integrity and monitor department performance metrics.
- Align roadmaps and services to deliver reliable systems and high-quality reporting for the research community.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience.
- Ten years of related professional experience.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Knowledge of accounting and grants management business practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree.
- Advanced degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- Detailed knowledge of grants management software systems.
