Director, Business & Platform Development, US Direct

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the partnership strategy for the US Direct channel, prioritizing online brokers, robo-advisors, and fintech platforms.
• Own senior relationship management across priority platforms to establish coverage models and long-term growth plans.
• Originate, structure, and execute strategic partnerships, leading end-to-end deal development from engagement through negotiation.
• Drive commercial outcomes including revenue growth, asset flows, and platform penetration.
• Shape BlackRock’s value proposition by aligning investment products, portfolio solutions, and technology with partner needs.
• Orchestrate cross-functional execution across Product, Marketing, and Aladdin Wealth teams.
• Lead and mentor team members to build a high-performing business development team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience (15+ years preferred).
• Deep expertise in retail brokerage and self-directed investing ecosystems.
• Proven track record of structuring and executing complex commercial partnerships.
• Strong knowledge of investment products such as ETFs, mutual funds, and alternatives.
• Demonstrated fluency and agility with AI tools and an AI-ready mindset.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Established network within the digital wealth and fintech ecosystem.
• Experience with Aladdin Wealth or similar financial technology platforms.
