Director, Business & Operations

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic partner to the SVP, Head of US Affiliate, translating strategy into actionable operating plans
• Establish and manage the operating rhythm for the US Affiliate, including leadership meetings and business reviews
• Manage the US Affiliate budget, including annual planning, forecasting, and variance management
• Lead high-priority cross-functional initiatives impacting the US Affiliate
• Oversee vendor strategy and management, including agency partners and consultants
• Support headcount planning and resource allocation to ensure alignment with enterprise objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 10+ years of progressive experience in commercialization strategy, commercial operations, or program management within biotechnology or pharmaceuticals
• Experience supporting senior leaders in high-growth or launch-stage environments
• Demonstrated experience with budget management and financial planning
• Proven ability to influence without formal authority
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree such as an MBA or equivalent
• Experience from a biotech or life sciences consulting firm focused on commercialization
