Director - Business Development

Responsibilities

• Develop and close a targeted list of new logo business to meet assigned quotas
• Direct business development and sales activities with prospective clients from deal conception to closing
• Sell across a suite of services including digital transformation, IT, customer engagement, and business process transformation
• Establish and maintain active sales relationships with prospective client organizations at all levels, from departmental managers to the C-suite
• Create demand and persuade prospective clients through the development of compelling value propositions
• Align Sutherland’s capabilities to solve client business problems and address strategic and tactical themes

Requirements

• Proven experience selling digital transformation, IT, customer engagement, and business process transformation services
• Demonstrated track record of opening and closing deals in complex selling environments
• Strong domain knowledge and industry experience
• Expertise in utilizing a solution selling model to achieve consecutive quarterly and yearly quotas
• Experience selling global delivery solutions
• Highly developed negotiation, customer relations, and influencing skills
• Strong problem-solving ability with an aptitude for identifying strategic enterprise-wide solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working for a global consulting firm
• Deep understanding of emerging technologies and leading business trends
