Director - Business Development

Responsibilities

• Develop and close a targeted list of new logo business to meet assigned quotas
• Direct business development and sales activities with prospective clients from deal conception to closing
• Sell across a suite of services including digital transformation, IT, customer engagement, and business process transformation
• Establish and maintain active sales relationships with prospective clients at all levels, from departmental managers to the C-suite
• Create demand and persuade prospective clients through the development of compelling value propositions
• Align Sutherland’s capabilities to solve client business problems and address strategic and tactical themes

Requirements

• Proven experience selling digital transformation, IT, customer engagement, or business process transformation services
• Demonstrated track record of opening and closing deals in complex selling environments
• Experience utilizing a solution selling model to achieve consecutive quarterly and yearly quotas
• Strong domain knowledge and industry expertise
• Ability to sell global delivery solutions leveraging high-profit sites
• Highly developed negotiation, customer relations, and influencing skills
• Strong problem-solving ability with the aptitude to identify strategic solutions for enterprise-wide implications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working for a global consulting firm
• Deep understanding of emerging technologies and leading business trends
