Director - Business Development

Responsibilities

• Develop and close a targeted list of new logo business to meet assigned quotas.
• Direct business development and sales activities with prospective clients from deal conception to closing.
• Sell across a suite of services including digital transformation, IT, customer engagement, and business process transformation.
• Establish and maintain active sales relationships with prospective clients at all levels, from departmental managers to the chief executive team.
• Create demand and persuade prospective clients by developing and presenting compelling value propositions.
• Align Sutherland’s capabilities to solve client business problems by thoroughly understanding their strategic and tactical needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience selling digital transformation, IT, customer engagement, and business process transformation services.
• Demonstrated track record of opening and closing deals in complex selling environments.
• Consistent history of meeting or exceeding quarterly and yearly sales quotas.
• Expertise in utilizing a solution selling model.
• Experience selling global delivery solutions.
• Strong negotiation, customer relations, and influencing skills, particularly with C-suite executives.
• Deep understanding of emerging technologies and leading business trends.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working for a global consulting firm.
