Director, Business Development

Responsibilities

• Build and scale the business development engine, including systems, tooling, and outbound motion
• Expand and activate the strategic investor network of creators, brand founders, and executives
• Lead the acquisition of top-tier creators, brands, and strategic partners to increase GMV
• Own and scale the Connector Program to drive qualified introductions and conversions
• Execute high-signal partnerships, celebrity deals, and major brand activations
• Partner cross-functionally with Creator Growth, Brand Growth, Marketing, and Strategy & Ops

Requirements

• 8–10+ years in business development, partnerships, or sales in high-growth environments
• Proven track record of closing high-value, relationship-driven deals
• Experience building or scaling BD functions and referral programs
• Deep understanding of the creator, brand, and cultural landscape
• Strong network across creators, brands, talent agencies, or operators
• Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM and outbound tooling
• Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or leading connector, ambassador, or referral programs at scale
• Background in creator economy, social commerce, or affiliate marketing platforms
• Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills
