About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end business development for payer consulting opportunities, from market entry to deal close.
  • Use a diagnostic, advisory approach to uncover client challenges in operations, cost management, and digital transformation.
  • Establish and expand trusted advisor relationships with C-suite and senior decision-makers within payer organizations.
  • Develop and execute account strategies and pursuit plans aligned to growth targets.
  • Lead proposal development, executive presentations, and RFP responses.
  • Partner with consulting leaders to co-create integrated solutions spanning strategy, technology, and analytics.
  • Manage disciplined pipeline management and forecasting using Salesforce.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of business development experience in consulting, professional services, or healthcare solutions.
  • Proven experience selling to healthcare payer or insurance organizations.
  • Demonstrated track record in a quota-based, leveraged compensation model.
  • Expertise in consultative, solution-based selling.
  • Ability to engage executive stakeholders and navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce for pipeline management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing professional network within payer organizations or the broader healthcare ecosystem.
  • Experience selling multi-disciplinary or enterprise-level consulting services.
  • Ability to effectively position value in terms of ROI and transformation impact.
