Director Business Development P&C

Responsibilities

• Develop new sales to existing and prospective clients to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
• Prepare professional proposals and presentations using available marketing resources and practice groups.
• Implement strategic sales actions to develop and convert prospects.
• Conduct thorough needs analyses and risk assessments to uncover unique client coverage needs.
• Provide consultative advice regarding key risk areas and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Build and maintain new relationships with key decision-makers in insurance and risk management.
• Participate in and take leadership roles within targeted professional associations and communities.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with company guidelines and procedures to maintain high service standards.

Requirements

• 10 years of proven sales success working with commercial clients.
• Comprehensive knowledge of insurance and risk management products, services, and value propositions.
• Proven track record in pipeline development and the delivery of effective sales strategies.
• Strong ability to think critically and logically to leverage essential information.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• BA/BS degree in a related field of study preferred; a Master's degree is a plus.
