Director Business Development

Responsibilities

• Lead generation and prospecting through field visits, local networking, and outbound calling
• Manage the end-to-end sales cycle including discovery, proposals, negotiation, and closing
• Execute territory growth plans for Belgaum and surrounding regions
• Recruit, train, and manage a local sales team as the business scales
• Build long-term customer relationships to drive renewals and upsell opportunities
• Maintain pipeline hygiene and provide accurate sales forecasting

Requirements

• Proven success in B2B sales, preferably within IT services, SaaS, or consulting
• Strong local selling ability with a willingness to perform on-ground field sales in Belgaum
• Ability to independently manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to collection
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Experience or intent to scale and lead a sales team
• Proficiency with CRM tools, Excel, or Google Sheets for sales tracking

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing professional network within Belgaum or North Karnataka business circles
• Experience selling CRM/ERP, automation, or digital transformation solutions
