Director, Business Development - Mobility Americas

Responsibilities

• Lead the North American Mobility business development and strategy, driving growth through portfolio development and go-to-market strategies.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand brand presence, profitability, and revenue.
• Conduct complex market, segment, and competitive analysis to drive strategic business decisions.
• Lead the pricing strategy and ensure competitive implementation while minimizing business loss.
• Manage business development and pricing teams, providing guidance to senior leadership and cross-functional members.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and manage strategic partnerships.
• Monitor and report on performance relative to strategic plans and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, technical, and supply-chain teams to ensure business targets align with capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive business development, strategy, and supervisory experience.
• Extensive experience within the automotive or manufacturing/engineering industries.
• Proficiency in SAP ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Strong expertise in statistical modeling, forecasting, and data visualization tools such as PowerBI and Tableau.
• Proven experience in pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and managing complex business cycles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results in a fast-moving environment.
