About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Business Development and Capture team for the Agile EO business area to drive strategic growth in the space-based remote sensing market.
  • Develop and implement strategic campaigns targeting new business growth for core T10 and T50 customers.
  • Oversee the BD and Capture team processes in alignment with L3Harris Stage/Gate procedures to achieve annual financial objectives.
  • Cultivate relationships with partners, consultants, and subcontractors to identify emerging opportunities and untapped markets.
  • Manage the annual discretionary budget for all BD and Capture activities.
  • Provide supervisory support, including performance management, career development, and coaching for BD and Capture Managers.
  • Represent L3Harris at customer meetings, industry conferences, and related professional events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years of related experience (or equivalent experience as specified).
  • 10+ years of experience in Business Development or Capture Management specifically for T10 & T50 EO/IR payloads or space vehicles.
  • Active DoD/DoW Secret Security Clearance.
  • Proven experience managing or directing a team to build a portfolio pipeline and achieve financial targets.
  • Professional experience engaging with government agency leaders, major prime contractors, and new-space companies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • DoW Top Secret with SCI / SAP clearance.
  • Experience translating complex technical product details into clear, customer-friendly communications.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with technical experts to define R&D projects that anticipate future industry trends.
  • Strong expertise in competitive analysis, win strategy development, and price-to-win analysis.
