Director, Business Development

Responsibilities

• Develop winning strategies for China-based medical companies by analyzing geopolitical climates, customer business strategies, and technical requirements.
• Provide leadership in the planning, design, and implementation of customer-specific business plans and value propositions.
• Establish and sustain senior-level internal and external relationships to drive business opportunities and customer satisfaction.
• Support management team negotiations on critical business matters with executive-level stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional teams to coordinate project activities, ensuring strategic goals, budgets, and schedules are met.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure performance criteria are achieved.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of sales experience in medical technology innovation, manufacturing, or medical/pharmaceutical consumables.
• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements including CFDA, FDA, and EU-Medical Device Regulations.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to present progress and success to stakeholders in a compelling manner.
• BS degree in engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
