About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of advanced credit acquisition and account management strategies for Business Banking lending products
  • Build and optimize end-to-end lending strategies using decision-tree and optimization platforms to drive growth and profitability
  • Design and calibrate adjudication strategies across digital, branch, and relationship management channels
  • Serve as a primary model user, guiding the interpretation and integration of risk models, scores, and analytical signals into strategy logic
  • Lead structured experimentation using a champion-challenger framework to evaluate and scale new acquisition and account management treatments
  • Own lifecycle strategy design, including credit limits, exposure optimization, and early-warning interventions
  • Partner with Technology, Analytics, and Underwriting teams to translate complex strategy logic into deployable decision rules
  • Monitor portfolio performance and provide data-driven insights to recommend proactive adjustments to risk appetite

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Business Banking lending, including acquisition, adjudication, or lifecycle account management
  • Advanced understanding of credit risk modelling, business financial analysis, and model-enabled decisioning
  • Proficiency with decision engines and analytical platforms such as FICO, SAS, or ARGOSS
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into executable strategies
  • Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders
  • Deep familiarity with credit policy, regulatory frameworks, and model governance
