Director, Autonomous Driving (AD) Platform

Responsibilities

• Manage AD platform development, development targets, and project milestones
• Oversee supplier management including sourcing, steering, monitoring, and escalation
• Define AD sensor suite and manage object detection development
• Define and develop AD central computer including HW, OS, SW, and safety concepts
• Manage handshakes to AD Algorithms, vehicle integration, and E/E system departments
• Perform risk management and develop fallback solutions
• Manage division budget, recruiting, organization, and international synchronization
• Support diagnosis concept, EMC measures, and homologation processes

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience
• Master or PhD in Engineering or a related field
• Background in high performance computing, semiconductors, AD, automotive, or supplier industries
• Strong skills in development, negotiation, and business unit management
• Expertise in system knowledge integration and finding alternative solutions
