Director, Associate General Counsel, Sales & Growth

Responsibilities

• Structure, draft, review and negotiate a wide range of digital advertising and advertising technology agreements
• Provide contractual and strategic guidance to internal clients to balance business objectives and risk mitigation
• Establish best practices and templates for digital advertising and ad technology matters
• Develop and implement process-related tasks to improve team efficiency
• Assist other legal team members with overflow work and client counseling
• Conduct formal and informal training as needed
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the organization

Requirements

• 10+ years of legal experience in an established law firm or an entertainment, media, advertising, or technology company
• Experience negotiating and drafting technology and commercial agreements
• JD from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school
• Strong drafting skills with the ability to balance legal protection and business needs
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience negotiating privacy and data processing terms (e.g., DPA)
• Experience with digital advertising terms (e.g., IAB 3.0) and data agreements
