Director, Application Engineering

Responsibilities

• Manage and build a team of administrators and developers for Salesforce and first-party systems
• Collaborate with solution architects to align with the architectural roadmap
• Work with product owners and program managers to execute project deliverables
• Manage planning, capacity, and development schedules
• Set development processes reinforcing change management, quality, and SDLC
• Execute agile delivery methodology with stakeholder transparency
• Provide best practices and documentation to improve operational efficiency
• Develop new strategies to apply technology to organizational challenges

Requirements

• 12+ years delivering enterprise solutions on Salesforce and first-party applications
• 4+ years managing a globally distributed team
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce declarative and programmatic development
• Experience with Sales Cloud, Salesforce CPQ/CLM, and backend integrations
• 8+ years managing multiple SCRUM teams as a Manager or Team Lead
• Proven track record of on-time project delivery via optimal resource allocation
• Strong presentation and technical writing skills
• BA/BS/Masters in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or relevant field
