Director, Analytics & Data Science

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of an analytics strategy to support Marketing, Enrollment, and Regional Operations.
• Guide data scientists and analysts in applying predictive modeling, forecasting, and advanced analytics to drive business decisions.
• Partner with Analytics Architecture teams to ensure reliable data collection via web analytics and customer data platforms.
• Present complex data insights to senior leadership in a clear, actionable manner.
• Provide visionary leadership, mentorship, and talent management for the analytics team.
• Manage the budget for the Outreach Analytics function and ensure effective resource utilization.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field (Data Science, Analytics, Business, or related discipline) or equivalent relevant experience.
• 10+ years of experience in data analytics or data science.
• 5+ years in a leadership role with at least 3 years of experience managing managers.
• Expertise in BI platforms such as Tableau.
• Proficiency in digital analytics ecosystems and customer journey tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
• Experience with Pragmatic Product Management.
• Understanding of the higher education landscape and its unique challenges.
