Director, Analog Design

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Line Managers to prioritize near-term product execution and long-term strategic initiatives
• Synthesize technical goals from business strategy to define design IP, process technology, and packaging requirements
• Identify and adopt tools and methodologies to improve development time and product quality
• Direct the IC design and verification teams to meet cost, performance, and time-to-market goals
• Grow the design organization by recruiting and developing top technical talent
• Work with cross-functional groups to integrate new capabilities into the design process
• Visit customers to understand applications and total system-level solutions
• Cultivate a culture of excellence committed to exceeding customer expectations

Requirements

• BSEE or MSEE (preferred) or equivalent degree
• 20+ years of professional industry experience in design engineering roles
• 10+ years of management experience
• Strong background in power management design
• Demonstrated track record of managing the development of commercially successful power IC products
• Experience building, retaining, and managing a global team
• Strong communication and broad technical skills
