Director – AI/ML & Automation

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise AI and automation strategy aligned with business goals
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML, generative AI, and intelligent automation across functions
• Lead cross-functional teams to design, build, and scale AI-driven solutions and automation programs
• Oversee RPA, intelligent workflows, and cognitive services to enhance operational efficiency
• Establish frameworks for responsible AI, ensuring transparency, fairness, and accountability
• Partner with senior leadership to prioritize initiatives that deliver measurable business impact
• Evangelize AI adoption across the organization through thought leadership and stakeholder engagement
• Monitor performance, ROI, and scalability of all AI initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Application, or an equivalent field
• 12+ years of experience in technology leadership
• 5+ years of experience focused on AI/ML and automation
• Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale AI/automation programs
• Deep understanding of Generative AI, NLP, and RPA technologies
• Proficiency in Python, C#, or Java
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in life sciences, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries
• Experience with RPA tools such as Automation Anywhere
• Expertise in cloud data loader tools like Informatica on Demand
• Experience with Salesforce or Lean/Kaizen methodologies
• Knowledge of pharma domain processes
