Director, Administrative Operations - Div. of Cardiology

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level administrative, financial, and operational leadership for the Division of Cardiology.
• Manage divisional annual operating and capital budgets, including forecasting and variance analysis.
• Optimize clinical operations by coordinating physician faculty and Advanced Practice Provider (APP) scheduling and clinic templates.
• Lead divisional strategic planning and identify opportunities for clinical program growth and service expansion.
• Oversee facilities planning, space allocation, and equipment needs in coordination with leadership.
• Provide divisional-level oversight of research finances and grant alignment in partnership with Research Administration.
• Direct workforce planning, including the recruitment, supervision, and development of administrative staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive administrative or management experience.
• Demonstrated strengths in financial analysis, operational leadership, and data-driven decision-making.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with administrative and financial systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience working within an academic medical center or a complex healthcare environment.
