Director, Administration

Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement day-to-day operations for the College of Medicine, including procurement, contracts, and project management
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of administrative support staff
• Support the annual budget process, including monitoring, variance reporting, and long-range projections
• Collaborate on human resources initiatives, including workload analysis and drafting position descriptions
• Develop and implement annual communication plans to increase faculty and student engagement
• Design strategies to improve web and social media presence in collaboration with Public Relations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in higher education administration, business administration, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Progressively responsible administrative, operational, or communications leadership experience
• Proven supervisory experience
• Experience in budget management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting senior-level executives within complex organizations
• Knowledge of website administration and communications strategy
• Demonstrated knowledge of project management and process improvement principles
