About the role

Responsibilities

  • Execute regional sales strategies to drive growth for credit underwriting and risk assessment solutions within the financial services sector.
  • Achieve sales targets on MTD, QTD, and YTD bases, with a long-term goal of building a 70-80cr business over three years.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities by generating leads and building relationships with key decision-makers in PSU Banks, NBFCs, and Fintechs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including Chief Risk Officers and Business Heads across various banking verticals.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial prospecting and relationship building to contract negotiation and deal closure.
  • Navigate complex RFP/RFQ processes and implement strategic "top-down" and "bottom-up" approaches within PSU environments.
  • Collaborate with internal product, marketing, and tech teams to ensure solutions align with market trends and customer requirements.

Requirements

  • 14+ years of sales experience in fintech, banking, or financial services, focusing on B2B sales of complex software.
  • At least 7+ years of experience specifically selling to PSU Banks, Private Banks, NBFCs, or Fintech segments in India.
  • Proven track record of delivering a revenue charter between 20Cr and 50Cr.
  • Strong existing network of leadership-level relationships in product, business, risk, credit, and technology departments within the BFSI sector.
  • Deep understanding of credit evaluation processes, including financial and ratio analysis.
  • Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and influence decision-making among senior-level stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to meet clients and oversee business development.
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor and eventually lead a small team.
