Director, Accounting Transformation & Controls

Responsibilities

• Embed AI solutions into accounting workflows and implement agentic AI for journal entry automation and flux analysis
• Manage the monthly closing process and streamline procure-to-pay and quote-to-cash cycles
• Maintain SOX risk assessments and build frameworks for SOX readiness
• Serve as the internal NetSuite expert, managing workflows, saved searches, and reporting
• Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team
• Act as the primary point of contact for external and internal auditors
• Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Procurement to resolve billing discrepancies and streamline approval workflows

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 2+ years in a management or team lead role
• Strong NetSuite proficiency (3+ years preferred)
• Experience leading monthly close processes and managing cross-functional stakeholders
• Proven experience owning procure-to-pay workflows
• Experience managing or administering a customer billing system
• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with tools such as Navan, Tipalti, or Floqast
• Experience implementing integrations between CRM and ERP systems
