Director 2 - Planning & Design (Telecom Network)

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the planning and design of broadband communication systems and long-term service expansion.
• Oversee long-range planning of service expansion and ensure current service level agreements are met.
• Manage operating and capital budgets, including reviewing project proposals, tracking expenses, and approving invoices.
• Align key financial and operational metrics to support project and company goals.
• Collaborate with state and local officials to ensure proper licensing and compliance with local guidelines.
• Coordinate with vendors to negotiate terms and manage project schedules.
• Identify new service areas through field surveys and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop and implement organizational standards, practices, and safety policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (or equivalent combination of coursework and experience).
• 10+ years of relevant work experience in telecom network planning or design.
• Proven experience in strategic leadership and managing multiple teams of professionals.
• Strong expertise in budget management and financial oversight.
• Proficiency in project documentation and maintaining detailed financial statements.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
