Director 1, SMB Direct Sales (Outside Sales)

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor the sales of integrated communication structures to small-to-medium business (SMB) customers to maximize revenue.
• Develop a consultative B2B sales culture through strong leadership, coaching, and modeling company values.
• Manage, coach, and develop Managers and Supervisors within field operations, Sales Engineering, and Sales Support.
• Monitor and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and performance reports through data analysis.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase sales performance and operational efficiency.
• Manage SMB sales channels within established budgeted sales and expense targets.
• Cultivate effective cross-functional business relationships with Division and Corporate Business Services teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant work experience in sales leadership.
• Proven experience in B2B sales culture development and leadership.
• Strong skills in sales forecasting, reporting, and data analysis.
• Demonstrated ability in coaching and managing professional-level staff.
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work variable schedules, including nights and weekends, as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Extensive experience in outside sales management within the telecommunications or technology sector.
