About the role
Responsibilities
- Support clients in performing job duties within the janitorial department
- Transport clients between group employment sites using a reliable personal vehicle
- Assist clients with lifting and moving items weighing up to 30–40 pounds
- Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and safe for clients
- Monitor and report client progress and participation in employment activities
Requirements
- Valid Louisiana driver’s license and auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass DOT physical
- Ability to lift and move 30–40 pounds constantly
- Experience in direct support roles or working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
