Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities to increase independence and community integration
• Follow Individual Support Plans (ISP) and ensure medication administration is documented correctly
• Maintain household safety, sanitation, and accurate financial records for supported individuals

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, insurance, and a good driving record
• Ability to pass a criminal history check through the Department of Human Services

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Human Development, Psychology, or a related field
• One year of experience as a care provider
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
