Responsibilities

• Assist people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live independently and build community relationships
• Follow Individual Support Plans (ISP) and protocols to meet medical and physical needs
• Document medical records, updates, and financial transactions accurately
• Advocate for supported individuals and assist them in meeting personal goals and objectives
• Coordinate and develop social and recreational activities to enrich the program
• Maintain a safe environment and respond appropriately to emergent situations

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Ability to pass a criminal history check
• Valid driver's license, insurance, and good driving record
• Ability to work Thursday through Monday between 8:00a and 8:00p
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and moderate lifting
• Must be female-staffing compatible for this specific shift

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a care provider or in a related role
• Experience supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
• Associate degree in Human Development, Psychology, or a related field
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification
