Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting
• Assist with daily activities including household chores, meal preparation, and physical fitness
• Support recreational and learning activities to promote community integration
• Represent the needs, wants, and interests of individuals in program planning
• Assist with transportation to community activities using company or personal vehicles

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid US driver’s license and auto insurance
• At least 3 years of driving experience
• Access to reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior professional experience working with individuals with disabilities
• Basic computer skills and experience using Therap software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Empathy, enthusiasm, and a passion for helping others
