Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting
• Assist with daily activities including household chores and meal preparation
• Facilitate recreational, learning, and physical fitness activities
• Represent the needs, wants, and interests of the individuals served
• Provide input on program planning and implementation

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Empathy, enthusiasm, and a passion for helping others

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior professional experience working with individuals with disabilities
• Experience using Therap software
