About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a community setting
  • Assist with daily activities including household chores, meal preparation, and physical fitness
  • Support recreational and learning activities to help individuals build valuable life skills
  • Represent the needs, wants, and interests of individuals in program planning and implementation
  • Assist with transportation to community activities using a company or personal vehicle

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid US driver’s license and active auto insurance
  • At least 3 years of driving experience
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior professional experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Experience using Therap software
