Direct Support Professional

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living activities including meal preparation, personal care, and medication reminders
• Encourage independence, personal choice, and individual growth
• Assist with community engagement through outings, social activities, and job support
• Help plan and participate in meaningful recreational experiences
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all individuals
• Document services provided and follow individualized service plans

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Proof of auto insurance
• Compassionate, reliable, and energetic personality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in human services or caregiving
• Experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities
