About the role
Responsibilities
- Support individuals with daily living activities including meal preparation, personal care, and medication reminders
- Encourage independence, personal choice, and individual growth
- Assist with community engagement through outings, social activities, and job support
- Help plan and participate in meaningful recreational experiences
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all individuals
- Document services provided and follow individualized service plans
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Proof of auto insurance
- Compassionate, reliable, and energetic personality
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in human services or caregiving
- Experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities
