Direct Support Professional

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in a 2:1 staffing ratio within a residential home setting
• Provide consistent, high-level personal care
• Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation and medication reminders
• Encourage independence, personal choice, and individual growth
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment
• Document services and follow individualized service plans

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
• Ability to provide personal care with female clients
• Compassionate, reliable, and energetic personality
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)
• Experience as a medical professional
